About Me...Mrs. Guzman
I am a very proud to be working at LAJH. I cannot imagine being anywhere else in our "Sunny" State. This is my fourth year teaching. I started teaching here at LAJH in 2005 and have loved every minute of it! I graduated from UNF with a Bachelor’s degree in Middle School Education: English and Social Studies in 2004. I'm working on my Master's Degree from the University of Central Florida in pursuit of a degree in Educational Technology.
I am a product of the Clay County school system, graduating from Clay High in 1997. Go DEVILS!!! Teaching is in my family's blood. I am following in the footsteps of my mother who has taught for the last 33 years in Clay County, 24 of which were spent at Ridgeview Elementary (Mrs. Warren). I have two younger sisters, one of which is also completing her teaching degree at FGCU.
I am married to a Florida Army National Guardsman, from of the 221st Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit at Camp Blanding.
We have two children ages 7 and 4, Molly and Nate. Needless to say I have my hands full, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I am blessed in so many ways each day. Some of my hobbies include reading, cake styling, photography, traveling to new places, scrapbooking, and gardening.
